This project aims at supporting the operationalization of the EU-MENA/LAS strategic dialogue on counterterrorism: support MENA region in building criminal justice systems allowing regional and international cooperation between countries to guarantee the security of their citizens in conformity with international law standards, Human Rights and the Rule of Law.

Three Pillars

This project has three main pillars :

Operationalization of the Strategic Dialogue with the League of Arab States (LAS)

• Set up of a Technical Assistance Facility on CT (TAFCT) ready to intervene on a demand-driven basis

• Identification, implementation and monitoring of pilot projects
