Held annually in Paris, Ambition Africa is the leading platform for economic dialogue between French and African businesses. Organized by Business France with the support of the Ministry for the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the forum promotes sustainable partnerships, encourages responsible investment, and strengthens cooperation in strategic sectors for development.
Established as a key milestone in the economic relationship between France and Africa, Ambition Africa brings together hundreds of public and private stakeholders—companies, financial institutions, development agencies, and chambers of commerce. The event facilitates business meetings, strategic discussions, and experience-sharing sessions.
In a context marked by multiple transitions—ecological, demographic, and digital—cooperation between France and its African partners is increasingly driven by a vision of sustainable transformation. As a member of the AFD Group, Expertise France plays an active role in Ambition Africa, highlighting its commitment to private sector development, capacity building, and support for structuring, high-impact projects.
Through its participation in this flagship event, the agency showcases field-based initiatives aligned with the priorities of partner countries and regional dynamics across Africa, particularly in areas such as entrepreneurship, economic governance, value chain development, and vocational training.
