From 11 to 14 June 2025, Paris hosted the ninth edition of VivaTech, Europe’s largest trade fair dedicated to startups and technological innovation. This year, Artificial Intelligence (AI) took center stage, highlighting its pivotal role in transforming both economic sectors and society as a whole.

Held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, VivaTech 2025 welcomed over 180,000 visitors, 14,000 startups from 170 countries, and 3,500 exhibitors. The event spotlighted key advancements in AI, cybersecurity, digital health, sustainable mobility, and quantum technologies.

At the 9th edition of VivaTech 2025, one of the major highlights was the announcement of a strategic partnership between French startup Mistral AI and American tech leader NVIDIA. Together, they launched “Mistral Compute”, a European cloud platform dedicated to artificial intelligence. The project aims to deploy 20 AI factories and 200 data centers across Europe, helping strengthen the continent’s technological sovereignty in a key strategic sector.

With over 180,000 visitors and 14,000 startups from 170 countries, VivaTech 2025 reaffirmed its position as Europe’s premier innovation gathering. The event continues to drive collaboration between startups, investors, public institutions, and corporations, united around a shared goal: to accelerate innovation in the service of sustainable and inclusive development.

On this occasion, Expertise France and its partners presented the Texas–France Space Hub, a pioneering transatlantic accelerator designed for French startups in the New Space sector. This unique initiative provides selected entrepreneurs with direct access to the world’s leading space tech ecosystem in the United States. It enables participants to test and enhance their market potential, establish strategic connections, and adopt international best practices in a highly competitive global industry.
