Expertise France has been working with Guinea on its health sector for over ten years. Post-Ebola, a variety of projects funded by France and Europe were deployed in Guinea in order to promote health security such as acting on infection prevention and control, fighting antimicrobial resistance, reorganising hospital emergency services, improving hygiene in hospital services, and the overall strengthening of the health system.
In this interview, Dr Sékou Condé, former Secretary General of the Ministry of Health and Hygiene, looks back at the work carried out with Expertise France as part of the Health Support Project (PASA).
