Every summer in Paris, Expertise France hosts the International Technical Expertise Days at the National Institute of Public Service (INSP). This event brings together experts, partners, and stakeholders to discuss strategic issues related to France’s technical cooperation and to highlight the role of International Technical Experts (ETIs) in influence diplomacy.
Since 2016, the International Technical Expertise (ETI) programme has served as a key instrument of France’s cooperation and influence policy. Deployed in partner institutions around the world, ETIs provide high-level technical support in a wide range of sectors including governance, health, climate, and security.
The ETI Days offer a dedicated space to strengthen connections between experts, French institutions, and international partners. The event fosters peer exchange, showcases field experiences, highlights best practices, and encourages strategic dialogue around the evolution of the programme.
The 2025 edition will focus on adapting French expertise to today’s global challenges, including digital transformation, feminist diplomacy, and responses to global crises. The agenda will feature thematic workshops, roundtables, and plenary sessions designed to promote open dialogue and the co-creation of innovative solutions.
As a leading operator of international technical cooperation, Expertise France reaffirms its commitment to promoting a form of French expertise that is agile, inclusive, and forward-looking, in line with France’s foreign policy priorities.
