Since 2019, the Agence française de développement (AFD) and Expertise France have been supporting the Rwandan Ministry of Education by assisting Rwanda Polytechnic and the Rwanda TVET Board in promoting regional vocational training. This project, called AFTER, aims to strengthen training at the Integrated Polytechnic Regional Centre (IPRC) in Tumba and at the APEKI, Bushoki, Kinihira and Buyoga vocational schools in the Rulindo district. Its aim is to improve vocational integration and develop entrepreneurship in the region, while providing technical assistance to the project managers.
Sylvie Mucyo, Vice-President of Rwanda Polytechnic, talks to us in this interview about the work carried out with Expertise France as part of this project.
