Which tools for a transition towards a green employment market?

Since November 2014, Expertise France is part of the Greenet European Network, initiated by the Romanian Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Protection and Elderly, to foster a best practices exchange between European countries on training with regards to green jobs. The 2nd  Greenet Network seminar was held in Zagreb on the 26th and 27th of February 2015.

Upon invitation from the National Employment Service, Croatian representatives from the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Labour, the National Agency for Vocational Training and from the academic world presented the members of the network with Croatian policies and best practices in terms of training and orientation towards green jobs.

At the heart of discussions were the issues of adequacy between training, capacity development and labour market needs for a greening economy.

Expertise France brings French expertise to this network. Two representatives from Pole Emploi and one representative from the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy took part in this seminar.

The next seminar will be held in Bucharest on the 26th and 27th of March of this year.

This project is co-funded by the European Commission.
