Expertise France receives a delegation from RDC's financial administration


Within the framework of a technical assistance contract implemented by Expertise France and funded by the Kinshasa province on Kinshasa's financial administration capacity building, Expertise France received a delegation of 21 provincial representatives from the financial administration of the Democratic Republic of Congo on Friday, the 17th of April 2015.

During this visit, the representatives of Kinshasa's financial administration, and representatives of other provinces assisted with several theoretical and practical presentations from the Directorates General and Regional Directorates from Public Finances, Court of Auditors and the Paris City Hall.

On Friday, the 17th of April, the delegation was received by the Paris City Hall to conclude a two-week study visit mobilising the City of Paris technical expertise. This session was the opportunity to exchange on the friendship agreement signed on the 4th of November 2014 between the City of Paris and the City of Kinshasa. This agreement especially provides for the "emphasis, in the framework of their cooperation […] on public finance efficiency".

The Provincial Minister for Finance, Economy, Trade and Industry of the City of Kinshasa, Mr Guy Matondo Kingolo, and the Secretary of the Financial and Fiscal Unit of Kinshasa, Ms Chantal Kabole Mukadi, took part in this meeting alongside the members of the delegation, the DGFiP, and Expertise France.
