Expertise France, in partnership with Pôle Emploi, is involved in the implementation of the GREENET project, "Euro network supporting innovation for green jobs". The first GREENET seminar was held in Paris on 5 February 2015.
The GREENET network, initiated by the Romanian Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Protection and Elderly, involves several European partners in view of a constructive dialogue on new competences and knowledge required by a green economy, to guide the main decision makers and foster a "green" employment market.
The European Commission is co-funding this project, through the PROGRESS 2007-2013 programme for employment and social solidarity.
The first "GREENET" seminar, organised by Expertise France, was held in Paris on 5 February 2015. The meeting gathered various French institutional players (Ministries in charge of Labour and Sustainable Development, as well as Pôle Emploi) involved in orientation and training on green employment - and discussed the connections between ecological transition, training and employment.
