On the 18th of February 2016, Expertise France and the Centre International d'Études Pédagogiques () signed a framework partnership convention to contribute to the reinforcement of the French offer for international expertise in the fields of education and training.
Access to quality education is a major and cross-cutting goal, acknowledged by the Sustainable Development Goals, and is a priority of France's external action. Especially, it is a critical issue of the development policy, within a context of demographic explosion on the African continent.
The convention will facilitate Expertise France's and's concerted positions on international calls for tenders or calls for proposals. It opens new collaboration prospects with other French international cooperation players in the field of education, especially in Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa.
For Sébastien Mosneron Dupin, Expertise France’s Chief Executive Officer, "this partnership is a testimony to a common and shared ambition in the field of education and training, where France has high-quality expertise, sought after by our partners. It will allow us to reinforce technical cooperation activity in favor of capacity building for authorities in charge of public policies on basic education and socio-economic integration of the youth."
